Primary duties: Manage schedules, answer emails, and perform administrative tasks for clients remotely. You can find a number of Virtual Assistant or smiling Jobs from various platforms include but not limited to Indeed and Upwork.
2. Freelance Writer
Average salary: Varies per project
Primary duties: Write articles, blog posts, and content for various clients across different industries.
3. In-person or Online Tutor
Average salary: AUD30 – AUD60 per hour
Primary duties: Provide tutoring services in subjects like art or language to students online. I have been an in-person tutor for language and art for quite a while and my average hourly rate is AUD50 as I was teaching two kids at the same time. And every time I teach two hours, that makes AUD100 for every lesson I run for the two kids.
4. Social Media Manager
Average salary: AUD50,000 – AUD60,000 per year
Primary duties: Manage social media accounts for businesses and brands, creating content and engaging with the community.
5. E-commerce Store Owner
Average salary: Varies greatly
Primary duties: Run an online store, manage inventory, and handle customer service. For example, I currently run a small merchandise store on this blog site for branding purposes and deepening the connection with my audiences.

Primary duties: Create and publish content on your own blog or for other websites. And this is what I do for myself and feed my family since 3 years ago. My motherhood blog side hustle has been so rewarding and valuable for me and by doing so ongoing, the experiences I gained from website building and blogging not only helped me to advance into a digital marketing role at my previous company, but also enabled me to now soaring into an aspiring full-time blogger and digital marketer.

Average salary: AUD15 – AUD30 per hour
Primary duties: Transcribe audio recordings into written documents.

Average salary: Varies per task
