It is lovely to interview our beautiful Mom Barbara Silver, who is a dedicated mum to a beautiful 5-year-old girl! Okay, let’s get straight into the interview and deep dive into Barbara’s motherhood journey.
So darling, tell us…
1.A bit more about your background if you feel comfortable.
I am a momma of a 5-year-old and recently moved to Florida 5 years ago almost 6. I do not have a lot of friends, so I spend time with my family. I like to colour and write to pen pals when I have downtime.
2.What is the most rewarding part about being a mother?
Spending time with my family.
3.What are the most challenging times being a mother? And how did you cope with them?
Trying to keep my daughter in line and keeping on top of things. I try to compromise.
4.What is your biggest craving or pet peeve about being a parent?
My pet peeve is getting my daughter ready for the day she doesn’t pay attention to me but when it comes to her daddy, she will listen to him.
5.What makes your children smile and laugh?
Spending time with me or her daddy.
6.Words that describe your children?
She is smart and very outgoing and very outspoken as well and pretty 😊 I love her.
7.Any standout memories of your children?
When she laughs and she loves her penguins!
8.How do you like to spend time together nowadays with your family?
If it’s been a long week we usually spend time together by watching movies or we do stuff separately so it gives us a chance to enjoy the week or evening.
9.Any great advice to your child when he/she becomes a parent?
Just listen to them spend time with them!
10.Being in your profession, what do you feel is the most interesting parts?
By spending time with them.
11.What would you say that helped you to implement into your life with your profession?
Just being a momma to my daughter the best I could be.
12.Any good advice to parenting tips you can share with us?
I guess the only thing I can say is just trying to spend a lot of time with them while you can before they get old.
